restart met data and deep mixing

It seems hotstart will only work with subdaily (hourly) met data and deep mixing = 1 (Constant diffusivity). Outputs diverge if using daily met data and other deep mixing models

in the same way, if daily data is provided and bird model is turn on, restart won't work

Are you 1) using the restart_variables and restart_mixer_count variables, 2) are reinitializing using height, not depth, and 3) only using submerged inflows?

Hi Quinn, Yes to all of that. Will not work when using superficial inflows? I was planning to use this in a simulation I'm working with.

The plunging inflows are tracked over multiple days, and these variables are not currently included in the restart capacity of GLM.
