"Sturgeon with Bacon "no watches configured"

Sounds tasty but doing some testing with the app on my OnePlus One Bacon and having some issues. Both the AllCall W1 watch (Harmony), and the HuaWei watch (Sturgeon) connect but then disconnect. Even when connected the app shows "No smartwatches configured yet. Please connect your smartwatch using the System Settings."

Can you try rebooting the phone? #51 also describes the same issue. Rebooting solved it in that case.

I did try rebooting, it did not help before. I then got another OTA update for UBPorts this morning July/26/20 and after that Telescope did recognize the AllCall W1 (harmony) but it would not stay connected. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting rapidly. After that I rebooted again and tried the Sturgeon and got the same results as before. Sturgeon keeps disconnecting and the app doesn't list the watch. I did another reboot and the usual reinstall of Telescope as well as made sure all the radios are enabled on the phone including GPS which seems to help the android client on a different device.

I had the issue happen on the Nexus 7 2013 (grouper) although, I do have a Nexus 5 and a Nexus 5x I could test on. I also have a couple of PinePhones
