How to test ?

I'm usually write test on every project.

In that case, I have no idea what test can I write that would not be just technical and would have a real functional interest.

I can for example a test that check the existence of the custom element after the function has been called, but the interest is minimal ...

Any idea ?

Maybe you can set up a sample webpage that implements a fictional but coherent use case, and then build your tests around it and give better illustation of usage.
