If you're interested, I just (Jun 2025) updated Hollow at https://github.com/boscoh/hollow. I've actually renamed the repo to https://github.com/boscoh/pdbstruct.
Changes:

- mmCIF parsers and writers
- fixes for writing large hollow structure files
- memory efficient representation of protein
- spatial hashing for fast pair-wise search
