Clarification about /file Endpoint

Hi.
I looking to replace official SDK by this project, but i do have problems.

For example uploading and using files.

/files endpoint its JUST for batch operations?

I try to upload a file to gemini provider, but then I just can't use anywhere, nor in responses nor in completions
