PESiMENs is designed with a privacy-first approach. This document describes the platform's privacy principles at a high level.
- Account and profile details needed to operate the app (name, email, campus, avatar)
- Community content created by users (PYQs, confessions, messages, stories)
- Basic usage and security telemetry needed to keep the service reliable
- Institutional academic records such as grades, marksheets, or official exam results
- Passwords — PESU Academy credentials are encrypted and never stored in plaintext
- The identity of confession authors — confessions are fully anonymous. A student's SRN or profile is never linked to any confession they post. Anonymity is enforced at the data level.
