Intentional Walks

Figuring out intentional walks through the data? Ive been trying and it screws all my OBPs up at the end. It does find a couple but far from all

What functions are you using to compile your data? Most functions seem to return the IBB field, which is exactly what you're looking for.

Those are all mid at bat intentional walks not ones where they havent thrown a pitch

Are you building your database via statcast?
Edit: In statcast, it appears the description field is set to "automatic_ball"

The IBB stats from FG/BR are correct.

If you describe what you're doing/trying to accomplish, there may be other ways to build it.
