I stumbled across this in F-Droid, and quickly discovered a glaring omission: no widget(s). I looked it up on Play Store and there are in-app purchases, but AFAICT, you can't even buy a widget. This app boasts about being highly customizable, but it neglects to include one of Android-users' favorite customization features.
When I need a flashlight I often need it immediately - I don't want to futz around with opening an app and then turning it on. I created a shortcut that I thought might activate the light, but all it does is open the app. I already have a tiny, floating, torch widget on the home screen that turns the camera flash on/off with a single press. But that's often too bright, I was hoping for a widget that would activate the screen flash instantly in its pre-configured settings. I guess that's why people still pay for full-featured flashlight apps.
Oddly, this app does not appear in NetGuard. I thought all installed apps were listed in the firewall, even ones with no network access. This is the first one I've seen (or didn't see) that was unlisted.
