[Question] Neoforge progress?

Hello! I'm a big supporter of this project's concept; I have had to deal intimately with both eggo's 1.20.2+ Origins rewrite and Edwin/Pug's original Forge port, and have been massively unsatisfied with both. IAFEnvoy's Neoforge port also looks unsatisfactory. I've been following your project for a bit and it seems to be coming along well.

I saw you mentioned potential Forge/Neoforge support in the README, and I'm just here to check:

• If you already had any significant work toward Neoforge versions
• If you'd be open to contributions toward those
• If you'd be okay with me maintaining a Neoforge fork of my own based from this project (I know the license permits it, but I don't want to step on your toes if you've almost got something ready!)

I don't actually have a Neo port available atm, I tried to make Legacy a multiloader mod and it didn't end up working out very well. All of the Neo/Forge ports I could find so far have been really unsatisfactory too, mainly because of their heavy API changes.

If you're up for maintaining a NeoForge version, if you can show me an actually working Neo port I can make you an official maintainer for Origins: Legacy on Neo, and you can also feel free to fix any issues you find in the Fabric version too yourself.
I would prefer for the two codebases to be made separate branches, to avoid making heavy breaking changes in the official releases.
