Following,
[MODIS Version 6.0 data products have been decommissioned as of Monday, July 31, 2023](https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/news/modis-version-60-land-data-products-decommissioned-july-31-2023/) with the exception of the Land Water Mask ([MOD44W](https://doi.org/10.5067/MODIS/MOD44W.006)) and the Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function and Albedo (BRDF/Albedo) Gap-Filled Snow-Free ([MCD43GF](https://doi.org/10.5067/MODIS/MCD43GF.006)) data products. Users are encouraged to transition to MODIS Version 6.1 data products. Please contact [LP DAAC User Services](https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/lpdaac-contact-us/) with any questions or concerns.Source
We should update the links from MODIS to work with https://github.com/CH-Earth/CWARHM/tree/main/3b_parameters/MODIS_MCD12Q1_V6/1_download.
I will provide an update link file with a simple Python script to generate updates.
