Feature Request: FFMPEG/MPV on iOS/tvOS

For iOS/tvOS, is it possible to have the option to use something other than AVplayer or VLC.

Reason: on tvOS, VLC does not support HDR and frame rate matching which is key on tv devices. If you need a URL for playback, i can provide for proper testing?

Please let me know if this is in your scope. If not, ill have my team work on it.

Thanks for bringing this up. Right now, adding an alternative to AVPlayer or VLC on iOS/tvOS isn’t in our plan. But we know HDR and frame rate matching are important on tvOS, and we’ll keep this in mind for future updates.
