Installation problem on mac with an ARM64 M1Pro

Steps taken

Followed DIRAC UI installation instructions at https://github.com/ic-hep/gridpp-dirac-users/wiki/GridPP-DIRAC:-A-quick-introduction:

and found that running the conda.exe binary fails.

Running the command manually also fails:

System information

Note – I'm running an older version of MacOS at the minute for XCode compatibility issues with ROOT. I'm hesitant to update to the latest version since rolling back updates on MacOS involves wiping the machine and reinstalling from scratch.

Yes, I am. There seems to have been some kind of fix found in #7546, but there was not much information posted there. Do you know if there is any support for installing on ARM64 Macs?
