Using `/updates setchannel` to change the announcement channel made the bot stop sending updates

General Information

It was running perfectly fine in a channel but then I ran the command /updates setchannel announcement_id: 1 channel: #mod-updates and stopped working, it didnt have the permissions setup properly for that channel but I fixed it and it still doesnt sends any messages.

The permissions in this channel, its an announcements channel so the everyone perms has send messages disabled

To Reproduce:

1. Have the updates configured to one channel
2. Change the channel using /updates setchannel

Could it be that the scheduled update check had happened before the channel permissions were fixed and so the update message wasn't posted?
at the moment the bot doesn't save and retry sending update messages if it failed to send them before.
try running /schedule show and see if the latest cached version for the project in question is the missed message version then the above might be your case.
Otherwise it could be a filters problem but, assuming your server is Industrial Foregoing's, I've checked on the bot database and seems like the update config is all good.

In any case wait and see if this problem still happens on the next update, and if so I'll investigate more.

I fixed the permissions a couple of updates ago, it has missed a few since changing it. I have double config because at first it didnt work so I tried making a new one:

ok there might be something weird happening with the scheduled check then, I'll do some tests and look into it, thanks for reporting, I haven't been pushing updates recently and so I didn't notice it.

For the moment I'll try rebooting the bot, in case it got stuck in some process, and I'll analyze the logs later.

Some fressh info, I just released an update and it didn't trigger the message.

An update I just released it did send a notification, no changes made on my part

There was an issue with multiple updates configs that I fixed in 1.1.2, not sure though why it would keep being an issue even after removing the other update config though, and even if there were 2 at least the first one should've still worked before, so I'll keep this open to monitor in case any other issue arise.
