No way to disable exit

I just noticed you stated the Exit item being added without a condition as part of the issue. The philosophy behind the design is that no other menu item should be able to terminate the running menu, and so the interface required to do so is not made public. TextMenu handles the addition and removal of such item itself. Is that a problem for you? Do you have a use case in mind which requires you to provide such an item? Note the onExit callback is available to you should you wish to be notified of the menu's termination.

My case is program what handle device trs port for settings (physical rs232). If it terminate no way to start it without reboot device processor. example

Taking into account that you are forced to implement TextMenu's addExitMenuItem and removeExitMenuItem, nothing really prevents you from not really adding the item to the menu by defining them as empty methods. Would that work for you?

And out of curiosity: do you intend to leave the user any option to terminate the menu whatsoever?

In my case it's a bad idea, because i write app to interact by com-port. App must never be closed.

sorry about the delay. I'v pushed a commit that will allow you to disable to exit menu item. I've also updated TextMenu's interface to change the display string of such item, since I didn't quite like the way it had ended up. Does that help?
