TX_SX1280_Minimal binding with RX module #57

Hi,
I’m using an ESP32 + E28-2G4M27S (SX1281) setup with the TX_SX1280_Minimal target on ExpressLRS v3.6.0.
The TX powers up and is detected by the Wifi page of ELRS, but it never connects or binds with my RX (Zerodrag 2.4GHz ELRS).

Details:

  • Target Firmware: DIY ESP32 E28 2.4GHz TX
  • MCU: ESP32-WROOM
  • RF Module: EBYTE E28-2G4M27S (SX1281)
  • RX: Zerodrag 2.4GHz
  • ELRS Version: 3.6.0
  • Wifi WebUI work fine
  • TX Shows in wifi but RX never binds (stays in bind mode and then go to wifi mode)

What I tried:

  • Reflashed TX and RX with same 3.6.0
  • Checked SPI wiring (OK)
  • Tried both TX_SX1280_Minimal and DIY ESP32 E28 2.4GHz TX
  • Still no RF link to RX

Question:

  1. Is the TX_SX1280_Minimal target compatible with the any TX module or does it need any additional thing that Im missing?
  2. What is the exact binding procedure for DIY ESP32 E28 2.4GHz TX firmware on ELRS v3.6.0?
  3. Is there any official link or source that explains how to bind DIY TX and RX in ELRS 3.6.0?
