Deployment fails due to script for Bigip3NICInstance

Describe the bug

After the Ec2 instances have been created there is a further step that includes custom scripts to set up the NICs. This is failing and then the whole deployment fails.

Expected behavior

The custom script should run and set up the NIC

Current behavior

The CloudFormation deployment fails after the timeout is reached (30 mins)

Steps to reproduce

1. Deploy failover.yaml
2. workaround issue Hard Coded AMI IDs cause deployment failure #64
3. workaround issue Instance Type is not used and therefore defaults to t2.micro #65
4. wait 30 mins for the CloudFormation timeout

Context

I am not able to deploy F5 BIGIP in AWS

Probably, we're facing this very same issue as well. After long wait, AWS CFT reports this error "Failed to receive 1 resource signal(s) within the specified duration".

Hello Probably, we're facing this very same issue as well. After long wait, AWS CFT reports this error "Failed to receive 1 resource signal(s) within the specified duration".

I gave up and created manually. These CloudFormation scripts do not seem to be maintained.
