A tiny orange pixel spirit, OpenGlow represents speed, openness, and developer-focused workflow. Its retro look makes it memorable, while its bright spark and simple form reflect OpenClaude’s identity as an open-source, terminal-first coding agent that works with many model providers.

The mascot is designed to be a permanent interactive presence in the terminal, not just a visual logo.
It stays fixed on screen, reacts to the workflow, displays thoughts and short contextual phrases, and helps the user notice ignored errors, suspicious code behavior, and missed issues. Its role is to observe and guide, never to modify code without permission. This makes the mascot both a branding element and a practical assistant, adding personality, awareness, and trust to the terminal experience.
