Version update checking

This is pretty low priority--only really relevant for manual offline use (mostly of the dev version), where you can't just refresh to update to the latest version.

Would check server's version number (if there's internet) and either prompt user to refresh (if using the online version) or offer a download (if using offline version) if the server-side version is newer.
