Nagstamon version: 3.18.2
OS: windows
Servers: zabbix
Description:
I use the filter "Regular expression for hosts" with the pattern mysql to hide all mysql-related hosts (a dedicated person handles those, I don't need to see them).
Filtering of WARNING/CRITICAL states works correctly - I never see yellow/red icons or notifications for the filtered mysql hosts.
However, since upgrading to 3.18.2 I noticed that when a filtered mysql host recovers, Nagstamon still flashes the green (OK/recovery) icon in the tray. So I constantly get green flashing notifications for hosts that are supposed to be completely filtered out.
Expected behavior:
If a host is excluded by the host regex filter, its recovery should also be filtered - no green flashing for filtered hosts.
Actual behavior:
WARNING/CRITICAL notifications for filtered hosts are correctly suppressed, but the recovery (green) flashing is not, resulting in constant green flashing whenever a filtered mysql host recovers.
Steps to reproduce:
Set Filters → "Regular expression for hosts" to match some hosts (e.g. mysql)
Let one of the matching hosts go into WARNING/CRITICAL (correctly hidden)
Wait for it to recover
The tray icon flashes green even though the host is filtered
