Error with db schema change

If you've been using perplexica locally and have pulled changes from a few weeks ago the sqlite db schema has changed and may break your setup.

a simple way to fix this will be to run these commands

rm ./data/db.sqlite
npx drizzle-kit generate
npx drizzle-kit migrate

note, this will delete your chat history

you should run npm run db:migrate instead

Hey, you do not need to delete your DB file. There's a script that was added recently, it'd migrate the DB from the old schema to the new schema automatically. You can run it via npm run db:migrate. For Docker users, this happens automatically.

am i missing something. claude said that i need to run npx tsx for the script bc it's typescript.

Please upgrade to the latest node version. Node.js now supports native typescript running.

I can confirm that the new version has a correct migration tool amd you don't loose any history
