Hi there,
Thank you so much for creating this integration. I have both the Eversweet Max fountain and the Eversweet Solo 2. I would love to be able to set the next cleaning time and mark it as completed like it's possible in the app for both fontains.
Is this something that can be added?

Repeat reminder (select every x weeks)
when marking cleaning as completed, the next cleaning date is calculated

Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

It’s technically possible to integrate a “schedule” feature like the one in the Petkit app a sort of recurring cleaning calendar where you can mark tasks as completed. However, at the moment it doesn’t bring much added value to have this directly inside the Petkit integration. This kind of recurring reminder functionality already exists in Home Assistant through automations or task management integrations.

The only potential benefit would be to have the ability to mark tasks as completed both in Home Assistant and in the Petkit app but that’s also where it starts to lose its purpose, since most people using Petkit with Home Assistant do so precisely to reduce (or even stop) using the Petkit mobile app.

Given the amount of development effort required compared to the actual use case and demand, I’m a bit hesitant about adding it right now. I’m not entirely against the idea just not sure it’s worth implementing unless there’s stronger interest or some clear added benefit on the Home Assistant side.

Thanks for your answer, yes that is what I was thinking, having both updated but you are right since the goal is to move away from the petkit app...
