Captcha not working & email not sending

There seems to be an issue on J! 3.6.2 and with SP Quick Contact - easily seen in your latest Xeon quickstart template when upgraded to J! 3.6.2

3 things happen:

1. the emails do not send even though it says email sent and even if joomla sending email is fine from the back end
2. emails are not received by the admin address in the config
3. if you enable the captcha field it doesn't display in the page you just get an error that says wrong captcha

I have the same problem in SP quick contact. Point 1 indicated by mrspidey.
My support on warptheme.com hasn´t the solution.
