Downloads going to my internal storage and not my SD card

Describe the bug

I can't make it to where if I'm downloading a single video and not a playlist it goes to my SD card it always goes to my internal space and when I try to change it to where all downloads go to SD card it doesn't work it tells me I can't do it.
