Kilo team, please, any chat app is welcome as an interface for when we're away from home. |

Hello Kilo Code team! I recently participated in the AMD & LabLab.ai Hackathon and built a Proof of Concept (PoC) to integrate Kilo Code with a Telegram bot.
You can see my hackathon submission, And the working fork
As a developer, I often find myself away from my laptop (commuting, at the gym, or shopping) but still needing to review AI-generated code, approve PRs, or send quick prompts. I wanted a "lite", secure, and highly accessible way to interact with my Kilo Code Session and workspace remotely without needing a complex web interface. Telegram provides a great, generous free tier for this kind of mobile-first interaction.
Right now, the fork allows developers to control important aspects of the chat and interact with the Kilo Code session directly from a Telegram chatbot. It's a functional prototype that proves the value of remote, asynchronous AI coding assistance.
While the current PoC is focused on the Telegram integration, the original vision I explored during the hackathon goes much further. I believe we could expand this to:
Kilo CLI Integration: Controlling CLI tasks remotely via Telegram.
Local/Edge AI Execution: Running this setup on AMD GPUs using QWEN 3.6+ locally for privacy.
I wanted to open this discussion to show you the PoC and gauge your interest. Do you see a remote/mobile integration (like Telegram) fitting into Kilo Code's official roadmap?
If this is something you find valuable for the community, I’d love to clean up the code, adapt it to your standards, and submit a formal PR for the Telegram integration as a first step, and maybe provide this feature into Beta release.
Looking forward to your feedback!
