What preprocessor is recommended for CoSimulationApplication simulations ?

Hello,

I was wondering what preprocessor do you recommend for starting with CoSimulationApplication ?
for the fsi_mok case for example, there is a video tutorial on GiD. But on the examples repository, it's noted that the example files are generated with KratosSalomePlugin. What would you say it's the best to start with ?

If I understand well, If I already have the meshes (fluid and solid) ready with other formats (say xdmf or msh) It's not straightforward to use them directly as mdpa files (through meshio for example) since the CoSimulationApplication will look for the submodelParts defined for the boundary conditions ? Otherwise, is there an easy way to define those ?
