Description
I keep the WhisperAI plugin as my final stop-gap, so if other subtitles aren't found, at least I get some generated ones.
However, currently, I have to set my minimal accepted score quite low (~60) in order to have whisper subtitles accepted, because they don't have the correct tags that the scoring engine is looking for. This causes problems though, as I sometimes end up with bad subtitles from other providers because of the low threshold for scoring.
Ideally, I'd want to put the cap up much higher again (80s-90s), so I only get good subtitles from my providers.
Realistically, I think the main solution to this is one of two:
- Add a scoring modifier to plugins (The more generic solution)
- So a user can provide a handicap to sources that traditionally get less points that other providers
- Make whisperAI add expected tags onto the returned file so it looks more correct for the scoring engine, and scores higher than it currently does.
Software (please complete the following information):
- Bazarr+: 2.5.2
- Radarr version 6.3.0.10514
- Sonarr version 4.0.19.2979
- OS: Truenas
Additional context
Not relevant to the issue, but the new timeout settings have been working great!
