Allow using the homepage template in markdown

The home.html template has fixed content that cannot be overridden in markdown files that use it as the template. That means that if anyone wants to have a fancy homepage, they need to override the template file, which is not why you'd use a theme.

I could imagine putting limits on what can be any file that wants to use the home template, such as a limit on the number of sections. The home template could then be updated to show these sections in boxes, like it does for https://leidenuniversitylibrary.github.io/Alma-Acquisitions-Open-Source/.

Maybe we can automatically put the first sections (up to four) into boxes? CSS is awesome and perhaps the template language can be used to select the sections.

Just a thought, not a priority at all.
