How are audio devices handled in Matter?

I have a whole house audio system with serial port control. Each zone can be set to an input source (so multiple zones can use the same input), volume, treble, bass, DnD, etc. Is there a Matter device type for this? I'd like to get this on Matter and release the code, but I don't want to do a bunch of half assed stuff that makes it show as multiple devices. Each zone should be a single device ideally.

yes there are a simple device types in Matter 1.4.2 but no controller supports them so...

In Matter 1.5.0 will be much more of them...

As always we are limited not only by what Matter protocol supports but also by what the controllers implements of the Matter protocl.
