My spellbook is at the top of the list in my inventory. After transitioning, in my inventory clicking on any other pack will place the spell book in my hands as if I double clicked it
I've also noticed containers suddenly ending up in my hands, even if I single click them, didn't know how or why, but maybe it's the same issue.
But I think the patch kinda broke containers in general because before patch, putting away a weapon or item would put it in my bag of holding, now it goes into my backpack instead, every time
