Rename validation to verification

Kind of a minor change in some ways, but since the focus is now pulled toward starting with manual user verification and automating from there, it should make the intentions of that code clearer.

This bug involves changing all references to "validation" in the codebase and filenames to "verification." If there are any instances where this seems unreasonable, discuss in the comments.
