Can't get it to work

Hi Mark,

Trying to get my hub to work but failed.
I flash the image, power it up and it enters "discovery mode" just as expected to.
I start the app (ios here), go to hub and it finds it. But it doesn't ask for wifi credentials or anything. Just adds the Hub 1 and says it will reboot and connect to the wifi.

It does reboot. But to "discovery mode" and it starts all over.

Just downloaded 1.1.1 image and flashed it. Same thing happens. Loop to "discovery mode".

Tryed login out in the app. Logged back in, lost all my Panels. 😔

Tryed deleting the app. Installed it again... Same loop.

Created a new user in lantern app. New Panel in this user. Search for new Hub... found new. Hub 1 added and same loop...

Can you help me?
Unfortunately I don't have an Android device to test it.

This usually means it failed to connect to your wifi. There's a bug that I need to fix where the app asks the hub via bluetooth for its account id to make sure it belongs to your account. Without wifi, the hub can't send the access token to the server to download your config (which contains the account id). I need to change the app to send the account id separately from the access token so the hub doesn't depend on an internet connection to identify which account the hub belongs to.

So I think the hub has been added to your account just fine, but it's trying to re-adopt the hub because the wifi failed. If you want to e-mail me at mark.milligan@lanternsoftware.com, let me know which e-mail addresses you created your original account with and I can go grab your old panel config (I'm guessing you may have just switched accounts when you logged back in, there's nothing that would cause your panel to get deleted when logging back in).

Thank you. Will e-mail you my original user... But I'm not worry in getting the panel back. I can redo it easy...

What really makes me uncomfortable is the hub in loop. Can't get it to stay connected to my accout...

Today I will try to make another board from scratch... Solder new components. Use a new sd card an flash a new image. I will even try with another pi. Everything new. It must ask for the wifi credentials... I hope it work.

About the board, the CT plugs are connected only with pins 1 (signal) and 2 (VDC), right? (3, 4 and 5 are NC).
And the VAC plug? +12vac is on pin 2 and -12vac on pin 5? (My 12vac font didn't come with p2 plug in it, just the 2 wires)

The board is almost certainly not the problem. You should be able to adopt and configure your hub even if there's no PCB attached to the pi. This is 100% a software issue in the iOS app.

I looked at your account and noticed you're outside the US. The image is set up for US wifi by default, I know there are settings in raspbian for different wifi standards across the world. Before you solder another board together (if I'm not too late), I'd recommend hooking up a keyboard and monitor to the pi (if possible) and connecting it to wifi using raspi-config. If you get it on wifi, it should be able to download your config and start posting data. If you manage to get that working, please let me know. If the wifi country setting ends up being the problem, I'll need to enhance the app at some point to send the correct wifi setting to the hub based on your timezone.

Mark, it worked. I had to change in raspi-config the WLAN country.
Then, I entered the wifi credentials and rebooted. It connected. Did a scan for hub in the ios app and found Hub1. Rebooted once again. And now it stays connected to the app. No more loops.

Tried to calibrate the hub and get some readings now... Didn't get nothing.
The Hub voltage shows 0.0V unchanged.

Can you confirm the pins for +12vac and -12vac?
