Quarter Degree Grid Resolution

Hey Martin, awesome package! We are working on a FishMIP project incorporating World Ocean Atlas Data and needed quarter degree grid resolution temp and salinity. I forked the repo and edited the get_NOAA() function to accomplish this. I am happy to open a pull request if you're interested.

Also I am interested in the ability to filter for bounding boxes. Is this something you may incorporate in the package?

That's great! Happy the package is used. You can of course make a pull request if you want. I think that implementing bounding boxes for filtering should be possible and could be incorporated. I will have a look what's possible, if I find the time.
