What's Changed

Almost too much to mention! Our last release was 3.12.1, and we have jumped over an entire major version to reach 5.0.0. The reason for this is that this release updates Hyrax, the digital repository framework that MorphoSource runs on top of, from Hyrax release 3.6 to 5.0.5. We keep MorphoSource major versions aligned with Hyrax, so that upgrade puts us as version 5. But it also represents a codebase-wide update alongside the Hyrax-wide upgrade, with over 1000 files modified. Our asset derivative pipelines have been improved, site-wide UI has been improved, catalog pages are better organized, mobile views are much better, and many, many other things. This update was about a year in the making, and will set MorphoSource up for big speed optimizations and other major features in the future.
