Feature you'd like to see:

i have not yet seen or found a way to zoom out in the time axis in the gui. thos could really help looking at the raw data in wide span and see if the data was loaded correctly. if there is a way and i just have not found it it would really help if you could direct me to it. thank you.

I'm not able to double check right now, but it should be either shift+scroll or ctrl+scroll. If you mouse over the "controls" or "help" button at the top right of the GUI for a couple seconds, one of those should show a pop-up with the controls for the data view.
