Describe your request
Mouse capture issue in games ( WSA )
Description
First of all, thank you for this excellent project.
WSA is one of the best Android solutions I have tried: very stable, lightweight, and practical.
I am facing an issue that occurs only in games, and all of the following games show the same behavior.
Affected Games
Minecraft
Source Engine
Xash3D New Engine
Free Fire MAX
Issue Details
Keyboard input works perfectly in all games.
The issue is related to mouse input:
The mouse cursor does not hide when entering the game.
Mouse movement gets stuck or jumps at viewing angles.
Camera movement is not 360°, but limited and not smooth.
The Windows mouse cursor remains visible and interferes with gameplay.
Expected Behavior
Proper mouse capture inside games.
Windows mouse cursor should be hidden.
Smooth 360° camera movement like native Android or other emulators.
Actual Behavior
Windows mouse cursor remains visible.
Mouse input feels like it is still controlled by Windows instead of Android inside WSA.
Gaming experience is not usable for mouse-based games.
Possible Cause (Suggestion)
I am not a professional developer, but based on my experience:
It seems that WSA is using the Windows system mouse directly instead of switching to an internal mouse capture mode for games.
Other Android emulators:
Switch mouse control to an internal input system.
Hide the system cursor and allow smooth camera rotation.
WSA may need a similar mouse capture mechanism.
System Information
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.20 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Storage: 112 GB SSD (Samsung)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 (2 GB)
Additional Notes
This project is excellent and very lightweight compared to other solutions.
Fixing the mouse issue in games would make WSA a nearly perfect option for running Android apps and games.
Thank you for your great work 🌹
