Testing ch01_500_0000.chain2 for a Wilds hair mesh, it seems the collision radius is adjusting a separate object independently. Also turning up the collision radius has no affect in-game on the actual collision.
Being subgroups, I'm not sure if this already the intended way it's supposed to work, but thought I'd report in case it wasn't.
