App must use Google Play Billing Library version 7.0.0 or later

Hi NativeScript team,

Google has announced that starting August 30, 2025, all apps on the Play Store must use Google Play Billing Library version 7.0.0 or later:

"Your app uses an old version of Google Play Billing Library. From Aug 30, 2025, all apps must use version 7.0.0 or later."
Updates will be rejected if the requirement isn't met.

Current issue:
The current NativeScript implementation (or the nativescript-in-app-purchase plugin) uses an older version of the Google Play Billing Library.

Request:
Please update the billing library dependency to v7.0.0+ to ensure Play Store compliance and continued support for in-app purchases.

Deadline:
📅 August 30, 2025
