Is DOI added to dataset view template?

I have installed this extension and successfully created a DOI on the https://mds.datacite.org site
by making a dataset public. 
But the DOI value does not appear anywhere among the metadata on CKAN.
Is it supposed to?
Or do I need to add it to my dataset schema?
