All windows are blank on Wayland

I'm running Arch Linux on Niri and I've tried the AppImage, manually running the .jar file (java 25), and compiling from source. All of them resulted in this after I clicked yes on the first no profiles popup:

This doesn't seem like a Wayland specific problem. I tested on both X11 and Wayland on my own Arch installation (KDE) and had no issues.

Maybe I'm missing some dependencies, I have zenity and Java 25 installed. Is there anything else that it needs to work.

This can be fixed by setting the _JAVA_AWT_WM_NONREPARENTING=1 Environment variable, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Java#Gray_window,_applications_not_resizing_with_WM,_menus_immediately_closing
