Expose Customer Credit Note as a Usable Payment Method on Website Checkout

When a customer returns an item in Odoo a Credit Note is issued. But Odoo does not allow this Credit Note to be utilized as a form of payment during web checkout. It has to be applied manually after the next order is placed. Which does not work for an ecommerce store. Currently we have to issue the credit note, then take payment on that Credit Note to a Gift Card Journal Account. Then go manually issue a Gift Card for that amount, which then gets debited from that Gift Card Journal account when it is utilized. This creates a lot of accounting steps and room for error. Plus it makes it harder to track the customers credits. I think Odoo needs a better solution for this.
