I’ve successfully transferred games to my iPod Nano 5th Gen (16GB) using this method. All 49 games, music, and videos appear and work perfectly.
However, I’ve noticed that every time I plug the iPod into iTunes (no longer using a VM — running iTunes directly on Windows 11) or eject it, the device briefly shows the Apple logo as if it’s restarting.
Some details:
• Device: iPod Nano 5th Gen, 16GB
• Behavior: Plugging in → Apple logo appears → then “Do Not Disconnect” or charging screen
Ejecting → Apple logo again → then normal menu
• All content works fine afterward (nothing missing or corrupted).
My question:
• Is this reboot/Apple logo behavior normal firmware behavior when switching between playback mode and disk/sync mode, or could it indicate some issue with iTunesDB or game files?
