Currently, OBK does not provide a 'Preferences' menu in the system settings or in the input method picker. So one has to use the launcher of OBK from the app menu in order to launch the floating bar; and then launch OBK setup form there.
Though it's nice to mimic Avro windows in the floating panel. I'd suggest you allow users to go to the preferences menu directly from the system as well.
ibus-avro, ibus-typing-booster they provide this.
Problem or Use Case
Problem is, one cannot quickly navigate to the preferences menu. They have to go through the long way.
