Could i get distance to the coast??

Hi,

I'm currently reading a shapefile in the OpenOil model.

I want to find the closest distance from each particle to the coastline at each timestep.

I searched the docs, but I only found the get_nearest_outside function, which wasn't an exact solution.

I'm wondering if there's a function that provides this functionality.
