macOS installation instructions

I tried mistakenly I suppose to just download and run scap-workbench-1.2.1.dmg, but it hangs on my macOS 11.4 Big Sur. I see installation instructions that reference yum and apt, but nothing that seems appropriate for a Mac.

Are there instructions on how to install on a Mac somewhere?

You open the .dmg, drag the scap-workbench.app file to Applications, then double click on it in your applications folder. That's it.

Thanks, @jbroome . However, that was what I did. When I clicked on the .app file, it opened, but got stuck and I had to use Force Quit to stop it.

Look in System Prefs > Security & Privacy > General

and see if it got blocked there, and you need to allow it.
