Description
The default behavior of robot services is to signal a stop/all if they crash or are stopped.
The voice agent was in a rerun/crash cycle on @dblanding's robot due to the microphone dongle being unplugged.
I'm considering one of two changes here:
- A note in the book turning voice agent auto start off if the microphone hardware is unplugged (a crash cycle isn't right), with content on how to do this.
- Or overriding the "will set" with a "will clear" - this will alleviate symptoms, but would still leave a service trying and restarting.
- A graceful shutdown of the service (Without a restart) when there's no connected microphone
The 3rd option would be ideal, if we can ensure it doesn't restart.
