PS Clipping mask style

Hi, I don't know if the development of the clipping mask tool is already planned, but if so... it would be great if it were Photoshop-Medibang Paint style and not like Krita, for example, or Gimp, which is a somewhat confusing and unintuitive approach for the average user. Applications like Medibang Paint Pro use the clipping mask just like PS, and it makes work much easier.

Is the way its done in Affinity good enough? You can search for youtube videos showing how it works or download it and see if its intuitive?

I personally only used Photoshop once 15 years ago or something in a 2h course or something, and never touched it since. So I personally didn't understand what you meant here. Could you elaborate on how is the masking behavior that you desire?

All the apps that support layer masks seem similar once you understand how to do them (usually a video helps). So I'm not too concerned if it is the "photoshop" way or not. I haven't tested gimp though, I just remember gimp being hard to use a long time ago so I prefer other apps. jleiva22 said he prefers the Photoshop-Medibang Paint style, so I guess the general public might prefer the photoshop way. Either way I think after we implement it, making a video would be really nice to see just how easy it is to use.
