XP-Pen Tablet Support (Does not Work)

I am using an XP-Pen Tablet mini7 V2 for drawing things (nothing serious, just like the feel of it). I was wondering if this device, or drawing tablets work at all with Pinta. I cannot seem to actually get the drawing part of it (the pen) to work. The buttons on my tablet work fine, and in other drawing software (GIMP, Krita, KolourPaint) it just works. I already installed the driver/app for it, and it still does not work.

I am using the Flathub version of Pinta.

I'm not a tablet user myself, but others have reported tablets to be generally working (aside from specific issues, https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20state%3Aopen%20tablet)

My best guess would be something with the Flatpak sandboxing blocking it?
