I'm wondering if this project is still being maintained, because it hasn't been updated in a long time, and there seem to be quite a few bugs left.

I’ve been using Plasmo since its first month of release and have loved building extensions with it (I’m also one of the contributors). Thanks to the core team for building such an awesome tool.

Regarding the maintenance of this project: I did a bit of research on the core team, and it looks like they have successfully moved on to new ventures. @ColdSauce is now working in cybersecurity at Jane Street, and @louisgv is cofounding OpenRouter. Huge congrats to both of them

However, this explains why the project feels unmaintained. Even though we have over 70 contributors, Louis and Stefan were the ones doing the heavy lifting, reviewing PRs, and pushing releases... Without that the project feels a bit stuck.

Curious to hear what the community think. Maybe this is a good moment for more people in the community to step up and help keep Plasmo moving forward.

I've been using [Extension.js][https://github.com/extension-js/extension.js] for my new extensions and very happy so far. the API is very close to real WebExtensions so migration was seamless w/ Claude
