n.b.: Perhaps we should (force) revert master to be the same as Plume-org/plume, and create special development branches for plume-async with actix vs rocket-async. |

Here we attempt to port our application to the still-in-development Rocket async branch.
There's a bunch of dependencies that needed to be bumped (or dropped) in order to make it come close to compiling, which it still does not…
next up: Look at the API changes and see what we can do about it
