Third-party runtime dependencies

The MIT License above covers the AIDRA source code authored in this
repository. Some runtime dependencies ship under licenses that are not
MIT-compatible by themselves and are NOT relicensed by being imported here.
Users who execute, distribute, or expose this software as a network service
must comply with the terms of those dependencies in addition to this MIT
license.

The most relevant case is:

  - Ultralytics YOLOv8 (Python package "ultralytics"), licensed under
    AGPL-3.0-or-later (with a separate Enterprise License available from
    Ultralytics for commercial / closed-source use).
    The AGPL-3.0 §13 "Remote Network Interaction" clause may apply when
    AIDRA is deployed as a public network service that uses the YOLOv8
    detector path. Operators are responsible for either:
      (a) honouring AGPL-3.0 obligations for the combined work (publishing
          source under AGPL-3.0 to network users), or
      (b) replacing the ultralytics dependency with an in-house inference
          backend (e.g. raw PyTorch / ONNX Runtime), or
      (c) acquiring an Ultralytics Enterprise License.

Other notable dependencies and their licenses:

  - Sentinel-1 imagery: Copernicus open license (free reuse).
  - xView3-SAR labels and scenes: research-only EULA from Maxar / DIU,
    not redistributable. Not included in this repository.
